Our Work

The Women’s Fund of Greater Chattanooga is leading the effort to make a better tennessee for women and girls.

Tennessee is one of the worst states for women. In fact, we rank 49 out of 50. That means life is harder for women in Tennessee than in almost every other state in the country. But no longer.

The Women’s Fund of Greater Chattanooga is leading the effort to move Tennessee from 49 to One and to create lasting change for the women of our state.

The Women’s Fund addresses the root causes of inequity through

Advocacy

We advocate for issues and legislation that contribute to the safety, stability, health and independence of women in our state.

Philanthropy

Through our Nightingale Network of collective philanthropy, we support local organizations that focus on improving the lives of women and their families.

Voices

Public awareness is essential to progress. Our annual luncheon features hard-hitting speakers and leaders in social justice issues.

Collaboration

We convene local organizations serving women and girls, creating a robust network of partners fighting for the same cause.

We leverage advocacy, philanthropy and a robust network of partners to address the root causes of inequity and to create lasting change for the women of our state. Learn more about The Seven Measures of Women's Equality that the Women's Fund is fighting to improve.
