Advocacy in Action

Advocacy in action

We advocate for legislation and policies that affect women and girls locally, with a focus on economic opportunity, health, and safety.

Our advocacy includes getting educated on issues, hearing from our community, and voicing our concerns directly to policymakers through contacting them and even visiting the Capitol in Nashville during our Annual Bold and Brave Day on the Hill.

The Women’s Fund has passed every piece of legislation that its ever written and has supported dozens of efforts to pass positive legislation - like protecting IVF and contraception - to prevent harmful legislation - like child marriage.
